Canceled: Two Lanes of Westbound I-90 Closed Saturday, June 16
June 12, 2018 - Note: WSDOT has postponed this project - As part of a project to replace parts of I-90ís concrete roadway surface, the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will replace worn drainage lids and utility covers on westbound I-90 across Mercer Island.
This work will occur mostly in the evening, but will also require a daytime reduction down to 2 Westbound lanes on Saturday, June 16 to finalize seals around the lids so they are able withstand the weight of traveling vehicles.
The lane reduction will occur from 6:00am to 11:59pm. Drivers should expect delays to Seattle. The following on-ramps to westbound I-90 will also close at the same time:
Note: The East Mercer Way and 76th Avenue ramps will NOT be closed at the same time.
- Southbound Bellevue Way
- Southbound Bellevue Way HOV
- East Mercer Way
- 76th Avenue Southeast
